The villa facing Diamond Rock
Set on the heights of Anse Cafard, Villa Latanier faces Diamond Rock from its infinity pool. Four air-conditioned bedrooms, a large carbet for outdoor dining, and the beach four minutes away on foot.
Forty minutes from the airport, Le Diamant lines up one of Martinique’s longest beaches facing its listed Rock. The heights of Anse Cafard and Morne Larcher hold most of the sea-view villas; the town keeps its Creole restaurants and market. It is an excellent base for Sainte-Luce, Les Anses-d’Arlet and Sainte-Anne.
December to April is the dry season: clear skies, a steady trade wind, and the famous sunsets over the Rock. May-June and November offer the best prices with still-lovely weather; summer stays gentle on the Caribbean coast, with brief showers. For a Rock-view villa in high season, book 6 months ahead: it is the most requested view in the south, the heart of oursea view villas collection.
From Aimé Césaire airport, allow 40 minutes via the motorway and the Diamant road. A car is essential: villas sit on the heights, and it is what opens up the neighbouring coves, the town market and the restaurants. Pick it up at the airport; the drive is simple and parking is easy once there.

Walk the four kilometres of the main beach at sunrise, dive around the Rock with a local club, climb Morne Larcher for the view over the whole bay, pay your respects at the Cap 110 memorial at Anse Cafard, wander the market and the town’s Creole restaurants. Then take the coastal road to Les Anses-d’Arlet and its fishing villages: the best of the Caribbean south is within 30 minutes.
Swimming on the main beach depends on the swell; the neighbouring coves (Anse Cafard, Petite Anse) are more sheltered. For a Rock-view villa, book early: it is the most requested view in the south.
Yes for the whole Caribbean south (Anses-d’Arlet, Sainte-Luce, Sainte-Anne within 25-40 minutes). Allow 1 h 30 for the north and Mount Pelée.
Yes. Villas often sit on the heights, minutes from the town and beaches, and a car is what opens up the neighbouring coves and restaurants. Book the rental together with your stay: agencies sell out in high season.
The main beach is beautiful but exposed to swell on some days. With children, prefer the sheltered coves close by (Petite Anse, Anse Cafard) or the villa pool; every listing details the type of shore.
Count 1,500 to 3,000 € per week for a lovely villa with a pool, more for an open Rock view or a large group over the holidays. December to April is high season; May-June and November offer the best prices.
